Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. For Michael Weinig AG and the entire Weinig Group (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Weinig Group"), data protection is not only a legal requirement, but also an expression of honest and fair conduct towards employees and business partners. It is therefore a declared corporate goal to protect the personal rights of both employees and all business partners. To this end, the Weinig Group creates an appropriate level of data protection worldwide within the meaning of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). We would therefore like to inform you in the following about how your personal data is processed by us.
Personal data (sometimes also referred to as person-related data) is data that fundamentally enables a person to be identified. It does not matter whether the determination can be obtained on the basis of a single piece of information, this will rarely be the case. However, the more information and data can be combined, the more precisely the person can be determined. Personal data includes in particular the name, address, age, e-mail address and telephone number of a person, but also an IP address.
This website is an offer of the Weinig Group.
1 Responsible persons
The person responsible for these Internet pages is Michael Weinig AG, Weinigstraße 2/4, 97941 Tauberbischofsheim, Germany, if you are browsing www.weinig.com, or HOLZ-HER GmbH, Großer Forst 4, 72622 Nürtingen, Germany, if you are browsing www.holzher.de.
2 Your rights
Of course, you retain control over all personal data that you provide to us directly or indirectly when visiting the website and using our services. According to the applicable law, we are obliged to inform you about the same. The exercise and implementation of these rights is free of charge for you (you may incur costs for communication with us, e.g. letter postage). To exercise your rights, please contact the persons listed in section 8.
2.1 Right to information
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time.
2.2 Right of revocation
You have the right to revoke your consent regarding the collection of data at any time. This right applies with effect for the future; the data collected until the revocation takes legal effect remains unaffected.
2.3 Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your data in a common, machine-readable format and/or to request a transfer of your data from us to another entity/person responsible.
2.4 Right to authorization, erasure or restriction of processing.
You have the right to have your data rectified, erased or processing restricted.
2.5 Right of complaint
You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority or a competent body, insofar as you should have a reason to complain. To exercise this right and the previously mentioned, please contact the contact persons listed at the end of this privacy policy.
3 Collection, processing and storage of personal data by the Weinig Group
The Weinig Group collects, processes and stores your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent.
We obtain this data in two ways: either you have provided us with the data or we collect it when you use our services.
3.1 Data that you provide to us
As a rule, you can use our website without actively providing us with personal information. For some services, such as the contact forms, we will request personal information from you, such as your name, e-mail address and company address, in order to process the respective service quickly and in a user-friendly manner or to be able to offer the service at all (for example, we require the contact data of the inquirer to process the fitter inquiry or the e-mail address to send the press releases).
Detailed information on all services offered on this website can be found in chapter 3.7 of this privacy policy.
3.2 Data we receive through your use of our services
Some personal data accrue automatically and for technical reasons already when you visit our website. This data is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:
The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. In no case do we use the data collected in this way for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.
In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations in chapters 3.6 and 3.7 of this data protection declaration.
3.3 Transfer of data within the group of companies
In order to process your inquiry, the necessary data collected may be passed on to companies within the Weinig Group.
If you give your consent in the context of your inquiry, the data will also be passed on to companies within the Weinig Group (e.g. to sales partners) for further support within the legal framework.
There are contracts with all companies of the Weinig Group that ensure an appropriate level of data protection.
3.4 Transfer of data outside the group of companies
Your data may be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf.
As a matter of principle, we will not transfer your data to other third parties if the aforementioned conditions do not apply. In addition, we take appropriate measures and carry out regular checks to ensure that the data we collect cannot be viewed or accessed by third parties from outside.
3.5 Data transfer to a third country or to an international organization
Data transfer to recipients in countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries) is permitted with the application of appropriate guarantees for the purpose of establishing an adequate level of data protection.
3.6 Cookies
We use cookies on our pages. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and, according to current knowledge, cannot contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.
Information is stored in the cookie that is related to the specific end device used. This does not mean, however, that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.
The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.
In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimize user-friendliness, which are stored on your terminal device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognized that you have already been to our site and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.
On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (see chapter REF _Ref514762066 \r \h 3.7). These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already been to our site when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined time in each case.
The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests as well as the interests of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies in the default setting. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies or only certain cookies are stored on your computer. However, the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.
The Weinig Group uses the following own cookies on the websites:

Domain: www.holzher.de Name: cua Content: true, if you agree to the setting of cookies Validity/storage period: 999 days
Other services that we use on our pages may set additional cookies. These are described below for each service or function.
3.7 Services and functions on the web pages
An appropriate level of data protection has been agreed with the (partly internal) data recipients described below or they process the data on behalf of the Weinig Group.
3.7.1 Web store and customer account on weinig-shop.com
The responsible Michael Weinig AG operates a web store under the site weinig-shop.com. We only collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us in the course of the ordering process or when opening a customer account in the web store. We use the collected data exclusively for the execution of the contract. After complete processing of the contract, your data will be blocked and deleted after expiration of the tax and commercial regulations, unless you have expressly agreed to a further use of data.
For the aforementioned purpose, your data may be passed on to service providers supporting us (shipping companies and payment service providers, see also 3.7.3), which we have of course carefully selected. Your data will otherwise only be passed on to other third parties if we are legally obliged to do so. It is guaranteed that all data receiving agencies comply with the requirements of data protection and data security.
You can create a user account for the web store free of charge. For this purpose, we collect your name and e-mail address as well as a password for your user account. This allows you to store different delivery and billing addresses, speed up the payment process for your next purchase, keep track of all current orders, view the history of past orders, manage your account settings and change your password.
Furthermore, you can conveniently log in to our store at any time, e.g. to check the status of your order or to place further orders without registering again.
If you order goods, we also collect the delivery and billing address and a telephone number for queries as part of the ordering process. This data is stored in your user account for future orders.
You can request the deletion of your user account at any time based on your rights described in chapter 3.7.15.
Further cookies are created in the web store (see Chapter 3.6), which are technically necessary for the provision of the store system. These cookies save your login as well as the shopping cart during the shopping process.
3.7.2 Product catalog at holzherparts.de and holzher.parts
The responsible HOLZ-HER GmbH operates a product or spare parts catalog under the pages www.holzherparts.de and www.holzher.parts without direct ordering options. We only collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us in the course of the inquiry process. This data is used to prepare and send you a concrete offer for the requested spare part. If you accept this offer, your data will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling the transaction and, if necessary, passed on to supporting service providers (e.g. shipping companies).
We may store information on requested or delivered spare parts in our systems for the documentation of the machines. This information does not contain any personal data.
Your data will otherwise only be passed on to other third parties if we are legally obliged to do so. It is guaranteed that all data receiving agencies comply with the requirements of data protection and data security.
3.7.3 PayPal
We have integrated components from PayPal on this website. PayPal is an online payment service provider. Payments are processed via so-called PayPal accounts, which represent virtual private or business accounts. In addition, PayPal offers the option of processing virtual payments via credit cards if a user does not maintain a PayPal account. A PayPal account is managed via an email address, which is why there is no classic account number. PayPal makes it possible to initiate online payments to third parties or to receive payments as well. PayPal also assumes trustee functions and offers buyer protection services. PayPal still has the status of a bank, at least in some countries, and is therefore subject to different or extended legislation.
The European operating company of PayPal is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
If the data subject selects "PayPal" as a payment option during the ordering process in our online store, data of the data subject will be automatically transmitted to PayPal. By selecting this payment option, the data subject consents to the transmission of personal data required for payment processing.
The personal data transmitted to PayPal are usually first name, last name, address, e-mail address, IP address, telephone number, cell phone number or other data necessary for payment processing. Also necessary for the processing of the purchase contract are such personal data that are related to the respective order, e.g. the billing address.
The purpose of transmitting the data is payment processing and fraud prevention. The controller will transmit personal data to PayPal in particular if there is a legitimate interest for the transmission. The personal data exchanged between PayPal and the controller may be transferred by PayPal to credit reporting agencies. The purpose of this transmission is to check identity and creditworthiness.
PayPal may disclose the personal data to affiliated companies and service providers or subcontractors, insofar as this is necessary for the fulfillment of contractual obligations or the data is to be processed on behalf.
The data subject has the possibility to revoke the consent to the handling of personal data at any time vis-à-vis PayPal. A revocation does not affect personal data that must necessarily be processed, used or transmitted for (contractual) payment processing.
The applicable data protection provisions of PayPal can be found at https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
3.7.4 Competitions
Occasionally, the Weinig Group runs a competition on these websites. In order to carry out a competition, the Weinig Group collects personal data of the participant. This data includes the title, full name and address, e-mail address and, in individual cases, telephone number if it is necessary to contact the participant at short notice. This data will initially be used to notify the winners by e-mail, post and/or telephone. The address data will also be used to send the prize. In some cases, the cooperation partner involved in each case, who provides the prizes, is responsible for dispatching the prizes. In this case, the address data will be transferred to the respective cooperation partner for a specific purpose. The data will be collected exclusively by the Weinig Group. The data will not be transferred to other external companies.
The data will not be used for advertising purposes. It will be deleted no later than three months after the end and completion of the respective competition, unless you have explicitly agreed to further use.
For statistical purposes, we anonymously evaluate how many participants have taken part in the respective sweepstakes. This evaluation does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual participants.
3.7.5 Contact forms
We offer you extensive personal support. If you contact us via a contact form, we will therefore generally collect at least your title, last name and e-mail address in order to be able to respond to your inquiry quickly and individually. If you wish to be contacted by telephone, please also provide us with your telephone number. Depending on the reason for the inquiry (e.g. request for a service technician), additional data may also be collected and stored as mandatory fields. Depending on the reason or the data provided (e.g. about the machine concerned), we may pass on your data to other companies of the Weinig Group.
The data will only be used to answer or process your inquiry. It will not be used for a sales pitch or otherwise for advertising purposes unless you explicitly request such use or have agreed to it.
3.7.6 Newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you to send you our e-mail newsletter on a regular basis in accordance with your consent. The registration takes place via a secure and established double opt-in procedure. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter.
The newsletter is managed and sent via the systems of a carefully selected service provider committed to data protection.
3.7.7 Product information based on purchased products
If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to send you offers and information in connection with the products or services already purchased by e-mail at irregular intervals or as required. In this way, we pursue the purpose of ensuring or optimizing the performance and durability of the purchased product or service in the long term.
You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the advertising e-mail, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates.
3.7.8 Google Analytics
For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc.(https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies (see 3.6) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as
are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and may be stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these Internet pages. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking, "anonymizeIp").
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link:
Disable Google Analytics
An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found, for example, in the Google Analytics help(https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).
3.7.9 Google Tag Manager
The Google Tag Manager does not evaluate any data itself and does not collect any personal data. It is a supplement to Google Analytics (cf. Chapter 3.7.8), which can pass on information about user interactions to Google Analytics and at the same time reduce the administrative maintenance effort on the pages.
3.7.10 Google Dynamic Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc ("Google"). This function is used to present interest-based advertisements to website visitors as part of the Google advertising network. The browser of the website visitor stores so-called cookies on your computer, which make it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to Google's advertising network. On these pages, the visitor can then be presented with advertisements that relate to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google's remarketing function. According to its own information, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. However, if you do not wish to use Google's remarketing function, you can deactivate it in principle by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the advertising network initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Further information on Google Remarketing and Google's privacy policy can be found at http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.
3.7.11 Google AdWords UserList
Google AdWords UserList is used to target remarketing via Google (see section 3.7.9) to individual target groups, e.g. visitors who have created a user account or visited certain product groups. No personal data beyond the remarketing information is processed.
3.7.12 DoubleClick Ad Exchange-Buyer
Insofar as DoubleClick Ad Exchange, a web advertising service of Google Inc., USA ("Google"), places advertisements (text ads, banners, etc.) on this website, your browser may store a
cookie sent by Google or third parties. The information stored in the cookie may be recorded, collected and analyzed by Google or third parties.
In addition, the DoubleClick Ad Exchange also uses so-called "web bacons" (small invisible graphics) for the collection of information, through the use of which simple actions such as the
traffic on the website can be recorded, collected and analyzed. The information generated by the cookie and/or web bacon about your use of this website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses the information thus obtained to carry out an evaluation of your usage behavior with regard to the DoubleClick Ad Exchange ads. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
Insofar as IP addresses are transmitted and stored in this context, this is only done to combat and filter spam/fraud (ad impression spam and click spam). This data is strictly accessible only to the anti-abuse teams. The IP address is not associated with any other data stored by Google.
You can prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive and web bacons from being displayed. To do this, you must select "do not accept cookies" (or mutatis mutandis) in your browser settings (e.g. in Internet Explorer under "Tools / Internet Options / Privacy / Advanced", in Firefox under "Menu Button / Settings / Privacy & Security / Cookies and Website Data").
You can find more information here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ads
3.7.13 Vimeo
We have integrated components from Vimeo on these Internet pages. Vimeo is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them, also free of charge.
The operating company of Vimeo is Vimeo, Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
By each call of one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Vimeo component (Vimeo video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically caused by the respective Vimeo component to download a representation of the corresponding Vimeo component from Vimeo. In doing so, the IP address, among other things, is transferred to servers in the USA. Through interactions with the Vimeo plugins (e.g. clicking the start button), this information is also transmitted to Vimeo and stored there. Further information about Vimeo can be found at https://vimeo.com/de/about. Within the scope of this technical procedure, Vimeo receives knowledge of which specific sub-page of our website is visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in to Vimeo at the same time, Vimeo recognizes which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting when a sub-page containing a Vimeo video is called up. This information may be collected by Vimeo and assigned to the respective Vimeo account of the data subject.
Vimeo always receives information via the Vimeo component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into Vimeo at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a Vimeo video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to Vimeo, he or she can prevent the transmission by logging out of his or her Vimeo account before accessing our website.
Vimeo itself may in turn use tracking software, such as Google Analytics, to track your activities with Vimeo. We have no influence on this and also no access. However, similar to what is described in this privacy policy, you can disable activity tracking by using an additional plug-in or an opt-out cookie.
The privacy policy published by Vimeo, which is available at https://vimeo.com/privacy, provides information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by Vimeo.
3.7.14 Social media
We offer you extensive support on social media (Facebook, YouTube, Google Plus, Twitter, Xing, LinkedIN, Vimeo) on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f DSGVO and, if applicable, also the opportunity to stay in personal contact with us. These social media services collect personal data themselves, e.g. via your profile created there or via so-called social plug-ins that are implemented in third-party websites.
Further provisions apply to our fan page on Facebook, which we present under 3.7.15.
You can reach these social media profiles mainly via separate links in the footer area of our websites, in individual cases via embedded Vimeo videos on individual subpages of our offer. When clicking on such a link, you will leave the websites of the Weinig Group and be redirected to the respective provider. It is thus possible that this provider learns via a referrer URL that you have reached this provider from our website or that you have visited our websites.
If you are logged in to one of the above-mentioned companies, they can assign the visit to your account there. If you do not have an account with one of the above-mentioned companies, it is still possible for them to obtain and store your IP address and/or identify you via cookies.
It can therefore not be ruled out that every visitor to our website is recorded by the above-mentioned company on the basis of their IP address and the URL called up, even if they are not registered with a user account with the company and/or logged in.
For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by these companies, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the respective data protection notices of:
